Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Veilbreaker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Veilbreaker is a counter-surveillance tool that uses your device's sensors (WiFi, Bluetooth, camera, magnetometer) to help detect hidden cameras, trackers, and surveillance devices. The App provides guided room sweeps and generates evidence reports.

Veilbreaker is a supplementary detection tool and does not guarantee the identification of all surveillance devices. Detection accuracy depends on device capabilities, environmental conditions, and the sophistication of surveillance equipment. The App should not be relied upon as the sole means of ensuring privacy or security.

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws. Do not use Veilbreaker to facilitate illegal activity.

Veilbreaker requires a subscription to use. New subscribers receive a 3-day free trial; billing begins automatically after the trial ends unless cancelled. Subscriptions are available at $6.99/month or $39.99/year, billed through Stripe, and auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You may manage or cancel your subscription through your account settings in the App. Refunds are handled according to Stripe's policies and applicable law.

New subscribers receive a 3-day free trial with payment information collected upfront. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the selected rate ($6.99/month or $39.99/year). We reserve the right to modify trial terms at any time.

You may create an account using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Veilbreaker and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veilbreaker and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. This includes but is not limited to damages arising from failure to detect surveillance devices, false positives, or reliance on scan results. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Veilbreaker, its creators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these terms.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated through the App.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
