How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account in two ways:
- In the app: Open Veilbreaker → Settings tab → scroll to "Delete Account" → confirm deletion. Your account and all associated data will be removed immediately.
- Via email: Send a deletion request to support@veilbreaker.app from the email address associated with your account. Include "Delete Account" in the subject line. We will process your request within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Firebase Authentication — Your login credentials, email, display name, and profile photo
- Stripe Customer Data — Your payment profile and any active subscriptions are cancelled and deleted
- Cloud-Stored Data — Any user documents stored in our database
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will lose access to any active Pro subscription immediately.

What Is NOT Deleted
The following data is stored locally on your device and is not affected by account deletion:
- Local scan history — Sweep results stored in SQLite on your phone
- Saved PDF reports — Evidence reports you generated and saved locally
- IR camera captures — Screenshots stored on your device
To remove local data, uninstall the app or clear its storage from your device settings.
We do not retain any scan data on our servers. Analysis requests (IR images, device classification) are processed in real-time and never stored.
